Deanta 10 Year Guarantee

Deanta offer a limited 10 year warrant with all of their doors. Please read below for the full terms and conditions on this warranty.

Terms & Conditions

At Deanta, every care is taken to ensure our doors are produced to the highest standards and arrive to you in a satisfactory condition. Just to ensure you are fully happy with your doors, we recommend you do a small few checks such as:

  • Ensure the doors are in their Deanta branded packaging.
  • Check for any marks which may have occurred during delivery.
  • if for some reason you are not happy with a door, please keep the door in the original packaging.
  • Any door removed from its packaging may not be accepted as a return.

At Deanta we offer a limited 10 year warranty* on all our doors. We guarantee your Deanta Door will not warp*, shrink or split. Just to ensure you get the best from your Deanta doors, we recommend the following:

  • All doors should be stored horizontally on a clean, dry, flat and level surface prior to installation and allowed to acclimatize for 7 days.
  • All doors should be varnished immediately after any alteration such as cutting or planing. This is to prevent water absorption which may lead to problems such as warping or splitting.
  • No doors should be altered any further than the lipping on the door.
  • Deanta doors should not be fitted in a house that is freshly plastered. Deanta doors should only be delivered to a site after all wet trades are finished and the house is fully dry. Moisture readings should be taken to ensure this.
  • We recommend you use 3 sets of hinges per deanta door.

At Deanta, our doors are made of wood and therefore are a natural product. Due to this all wood doors are subject to humidity and temperature changes. Although Deanta strenuously quality check all our material, wood is a natural product. Each door may have slightly different pattens of graining or colour variations. As the wood ages any colour variations will subside.

When finishing a door with varnish, please ensure it is manufactured for internal joinery. We do not recommend the painting of our doors. For all oil finishes please consult with your local stockist for information on approved products. (Click Here to contact Leader Stores)

*Applies to all doors purchased after May 2012. Warp/bow/cup/twist (as set out in the relevant British Standard) shall not be considered a defect unless it exceeds 1/4 inch (6.35mm) in the plane of the door itself. Warp is any distortion in the door itself and does not refer to the relationship of the door to the frame or jamb in which it is hung.
